1. Overview
AI Content Lab is a mobile app published by AI Babu ("we", "us"). It lets you create and edit media using AI models that run directly on your device. This policy explains what information the app processes, what limited information leaves your device, and the choices you have.
The short version: your photos, videos, faces, voice and prompts are processed on your device to create your results, and are not uploaded to us. The only information that leaves your device relates to optional advertising, optional Cloud AI generation features you choose to use, and a few other optional features described below.
2. What stays on your device
The following are processed locally on your device and are not sent to us or stored on our servers:
- Photos, videos and images you select or capture for editing;
- Faces detected for face swap, lip-sync or makeup features;
- Audio and voice you provide or generate;
- Text prompts you type to generate images or plan a video;
- The media you create, your projects and your in-app gallery.
These remain in the app's storage on your device until you delete them or uninstall the app. AI model files are downloaded once and stored locally so the tools can run offline.
Exception — Cloud AI generation: some advanced image, video and audio features are too demanding to run on a phone. If you choose to run one of these as a Cloud generation (spending credits from a subscription, a credit purchase, or a rewarded ad) rather than the on-device equivalent, the relevant text prompt and any image or video you provide for that specific request is sent off your device to our AI infrastructure provider to produce the result. See Section 3(f) for exactly what is sent and to whom.
On-Device Face Data Processing
Our app provides features such as Face Swap, Lip-Sync, and Face Makeup. These features process face data from the photos and videos you select or capture. This face data processing is performed 100% locally on your device using on-device machine learning models. Specifically:
- No Uploading: Face data (including facial features, landmark points, and face shapes) is processed entirely in the app's local memory and is never transmitted to us, stored on our servers, or shared with third parties.
- No Personal Identification: We do not use face data to personally identify any user. The face data is used solely to apply the requested visual effects (e.g., swapping a face, animating lips to match audio, or applying makeup).
- No Retention: Face data is only held in temporary memory during the editing process. It is not saved or retained on your device or elsewhere once the processing completes, unless you save your project, in which case it remains in your local app sandbox. You can delete all project data anytime by going to Settings → Delete Data, or by uninstalling the app.
3. Information that leaves your device
a) AI model & app downloads
To run on-device AI, the app downloads model files and updates from our hosting providers and content-delivery networks. As with any internet request, those providers may automatically log technical data such as your IP address and device/network information to deliver the files and for security. We do not use this to identify you.
b) Optional web research (AI Director)
If you use the AI Director feature, the app may send a search query based on your prompt to third-party public services — DuckDuckGo and Wikipedia — to gather factual context that improves the generated plan. To protect your privacy, please avoid including personal or sensitive information in prompts. These services handle requests under their own privacy policies.
c) Advertising
The app shows ads through Google AdMob. To serve ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process information such as advertising/device identifiers, approximate (coarse) information, ad interactions, and similar data. See Section 4 and Google's policies for details.
d) Diagnostics
We may receive limited, non-identifying diagnostic information (for example, crash or performance data made available by the app stores or SDKs) to keep the app stable. This is used only to operate and improve the app.
e) Purchases & subscriptions
If you buy a AI Content Lab Pro subscription, the payment is handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play) — we never see or store your card or payment details. We use RevenueCat as our subscription provider to verify and manage your purchase. To do this, Apple/Google and RevenueCat process purchase and transaction information and purchase/device identifiers, so the app knows whether your Pro features are active. RevenueCat processes this data on our behalf under its own privacy policy. We use it only to deliver and manage your subscription.
f) Optional Cloud AI generation (credits)
AI Content Lab offers a Credits system that unlocks higher-quality, cloud-run AI generation for image, video and audio features — for example higher-fidelity images, AI video generation, AI music and AI voiceovers. You choose per-feature whether to run it Local (on-device, free, nothing leaves your phone) or Cloud (spends credits, higher quality). Credits are earned via a subscription, a one-time purchase, or a rewarded ad.
When you choose Cloud generation, the app securely sends only what that specific request needs — your text prompt, and/or the image or video you supplied as input — to one of our third-party AI providers, which runs the requested AI model and returns the generated result. This does not include your name, email, or any account identifier — the app has no account system, and our providers are not given anything that identifies you personally beyond a randomly generated identifier used solely to meter your credit balance.
We use two providers:
- fal.ai (Features & Labels, Inc.) — our main AI infrastructure provider, used for cloud image, video and audio generation. fal.ai does not use this content to train its own models. It processes this data under its own privacy policy.
- Hugging Face, Inc. — used to provide a limited number of free cloud image generations per day to users without a subscription. When this free allowance applies, your text prompt is sent to Hugging Face instead of fal.ai to produce the image. Hugging Face processes this data under its own privacy policy. Once your free daily allowance is used up, cloud image generation falls back to fal.ai and spends credits as described above.
A small number of low-cost cloud image/audio features may also be unlocked for free by watching a rewarded ad instead of spending credits; the same data flow above applies to that generation once unlocked.
4. Advertising & consent
Ads are provided by Google AdMob and may include personalized advertising depending on your consent and region.
- Europe/UK and other regulated regions: we present Google's consent (UMP) message so you can choose whether to allow personalized ads.
- Apple devices: we ask for App Tracking Transparency permission before any advertising identifier is used for tracking. If you decline, ads are non-personalized.
You can learn more and manage choices via Google's advertising policies and Google's Privacy Policy.
5. How information is used
Information described above is used only to:
- Deliver AI model files and app updates;
- Provide optional features you choose to use (such as AI Director research, or Cloud AI generation via fal.ai);
- Verify and manage your AI Content Lab Pro subscription and your credit balance;
- Show ads that keep the app free, subject to your consent;
- Maintain security, stability and performance.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your photos, voice or creations to train models or for advertising.
6. Sharing
We share information only with the service providers needed to operate the app — for example, Google (AdMob) for advertising, Apple/Google and RevenueCat for subscription and credit billing/verification, fal.ai and Hugging Face to run the AI model behind a Cloud generation you request, Google Cloud (Firebase) for the server that routes those requests, our hosting/CDN providers for downloads, and the public search services noted above when you use AI Director. Each processes data under its own terms. We may also disclose information if required by law.
7. Retention & your controls
- On-device content: kept until you delete it in the app or uninstall.
- Cloud generation: we do not store your prompts, or the photos and videos you send for a Cloud generation, on our own servers. Against your randomly generated identifier our server keeps only a per-day count of your generations (to meter credits and limit abuse) and, briefly, a link to your generated result so that a retried request cannot charge you twice. These records hold no prompt or media content, carry a 24-hour expiry, and are then deleted automatically. Content sent to fal.ai or Hugging Face to produce your result is retained by them under their own privacy policies, linked in Section 3(f).
- Delete app data: you can clear app data anytime from Settings → Delete All Data within the app, or by uninstalling. See How to delete your data below.
- Ad choices: adjust consent (UMP) or App Tracking Transparency in your device settings.
- No account: the app does not require an account, so we hold no account profile about you.
How to delete your data
This section explains exactly how to delete the data AI Content Lab holds, and what is deleted or kept in each case.
1. Data stored on your device — your projects, generated media, in-app gallery, downloaded AI models, and any photos, videos or audio you imported. To delete it:
- Open AI Content Lab.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Delete All Data and confirm.
This permanently removes all cached AI models and generated media from your device. Uninstalling the app removes this data as well. Because AI Content Lab has no accounts or sign-in, there is no account profile to delete and nothing you need to request from us.
2. Data on our servers — deleted automatically; no request needed. We do not store your prompts, or the photos and videos you send for a Cloud generation, on our own servers. The only records tied to your randomly generated identifier are a per-day count of your generations and, briefly, a link to your generated result so a retried request cannot charge you twice. These records contain no prompt or media content, carry a 24-hour expiry, and are then deleted automatically. They are linked only to an anonymous identifier — never to your name, email or an account — so they cannot be traced back to you personally.
3. Data held by our AI providers — if you used Cloud generation, the prompt and any photo or video for that request were processed by fal.ai and/or Hugging Face and are retained under their own privacy policies (fal.ai privacy policy, Hugging Face privacy policy). To request deletion of anything they hold, contact them directly using the details in their policies. To send nothing off your device at all, use on-device generation, which is always free and never leaves your phone.

8. Children
AI Content Lab is not directed to children under the age required by your local law (at least 13). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will address it.
9. Security
Because your media is processed and stored on your device, you control it directly. We use reasonable measures to protect the limited data handled by the services we use, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
10. Changes
We may update this policy as the app evolves. We'll revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide notice in the app.
